Franck Provost, the man behind the success of 650 salons in 30 countries

Franck Provost opened his first salon in 1975 in the chic Parisian suburb of St-Germain-en-Laye.
He participated in various contests, being fond of competition, and won the title of Best Hairdresser in France and World Champion in 1977.
Four years later he opened his second Salon down the famous Champs-Elysées Avenue.

Being a pioneer in understanding the desires and needs of the modern woman, and with a vision of offering an accessible luxury hair experience, he implemented in his new salon high quality standards at affordable prices in a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

From popular to famous...

He later became the official hairstylist to several famous TV shows such as "The Star Academy" (French Idol) and "So you think you can dance" in many countries. Franck Provost also became the personal hairstylist to some of the most renowned celebrities such as Sharon Stone or Juliette Binoche (at Franck Provost Sydney Hair Salon), as well as prestigious events like the Cannes Film Festival.

From 1995, the brand will start building a franchise network based on 25 branches.
In 1998, the first Franck Provost salon opened abroad, in the Philippines.
In 1999, he created the International Academy where Franck Provost stylists are trained to the brand's concept, techniques and collections.

Being the number one in Paris and throughout France, the Franck Provost brand pursued the international market by opening 650 hair salons in more than 30 countries including the United States, Japan, China, and of course Australia since November 2008.
