To celebrate the 61st Cannes Film Festival, Franck Provost, women's official hairstylist, joined forces, for the second year running, with Swarovski.
Thanks to a trilogy of hairpins decorated with crystal stars, the red carpet was transformed into a constellation.
Both discreet and elegant, this jewel added a glimmering touch to stars' hairstyles.
Franck and Fabien Provost came to Cannes with a team of 12 make-up artists who rushed around the Croisette for the 12 days of the festival. For customised service, they worked in celebrities' suites and hotel rooms as well as in the dressing rooms of the Grand Journal programme on Canal+ for which Franck Provost was once more the official hairstylist. A confidential suite, based at the Martinez hotel was also set up to take care of artists' beauty requirements.
Franck Provost at Cannes involved 180 litres of hair products, 120 brushes, 15kg of hair pins and kirbies not forgetting hairdryers, straighteners, tongs, diffusers and other accessories indispensable to shine on the red carpet.
